The Gryder Laboratory is ideal for scientists and clinicians who want to add new skills to their tool belt, to become fully equipped to make substantial and long-lasting contributions to biology and medicine

Our growing team is enthusiastic about the 3D nucleus, epigenetics, gene regulation, cancer therapy and chemical biology.  We are assembling at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine.

We prioritize candidates who exhibit kindness, creativity, enthusiasm, and courage.

We are specifically hiring:

Senior Research Scientist, Molecular Biology/Wet-Lab Manager: We are seeking one experienced molecular biologist to lead the wet-lab operations of the laboratory. We will work with CRISPR, cloning, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, NGS library preparation, DNA and RNA FISH based methods, immunofluorescence and super-resolution microscopy. We are looking for a scientist who works with diligence, is well organized, pays great attention to detail and “keeps the lab running smoothly”.  Find more details at: LinkedIn

Postdocs: We are recruiting Ph.D. or M.D. level scientists with interest in one of our three focus areas: chemical biology, cancer biology or computational biology. Our aim is to train the next generation of innovative thinkers who have an interdisciplinary approach to big challenges: a mixture of drug hunters, clinical oncologists and computational wizards.

Wet-lab Research Technicians: Do you love pipetting, running E-gels, western blots, doing PCR, purifying nucleotides, or troubleshooting cool new techniques? We are always looking for energetic, detail-oriented people to join us as technicians in the wet lab (any level of experience – we can train you!).
